This 51-year-old woman wanted to enhance the look of her face by balancing her profile and taking a few years off of her appearance. Wanting subtle, but effective enhancement, she decided to explore her options for surgery and began looking for a Los Angeles plastic surgeon with extensive experience performing facial procedures. After exploring many options, she contacted Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon.

Because she had multiple concerns, she was curious to know if combing procedures was safe. In particular, she was interested in chin augmentation and eyelid surgery, which were easily performed in conjunction with each other. As can be seen in her “before” pictures, her surgeon used special markings to mark both areas to be performed together.

She and her surgeon decided that she would have both lower and upper eyelid surgery to decrease the puffiness beneath her eyes and tighten the sagging skin above her eyes. Combined with a chin implant, the eyelid surgery would improve her appearance greatly.

After she was given time to recover from her Los Angeles eyelid surgery and chin augmentation, her “after” photos were taken, showing dramatic improvement in her chin and profile in addition to restoring the youthfulness around her eyes. She was thrilled with the results of her surgery.
