This 51-year-old woman wanted to rejuvenate her facial appearance, especially around her jaw and her eyes. After considering plastic surgery for some time, she started looking for a talented Los Angeles plastic surgeon who had performed numerous facial rejuvenation surgeries. She decided to schedule a consultation with one of the board-certified plastic surgeons at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates.

During her consultation, she expressed concerns about the dark circles under her eyes and the heaviness of her eyelids, as well as with the sagging skin around her jaw. She also was unhappy with the texture and look of her skin, which had become moderately discolored with age. Her surgeon listened carefully to her concerns and explained her options for facial enhancement. He suggested that she have a facelift to treat the lower portion of her face and eyelid surgery to treat the heaviness and tired-look of her eyes. Once she had healed from the facial surgery, she could have carbon dioxide laser resurfacing to smooth out her complexion.

She returned after her smooth recovery to our office and this patient’s “after” photos were taken to show her improvement. The Los Angeles eyelid surgery , facelift and laser skin resurfacing made her face look younger and her skin look toned and fresh. As can be seen in the “after” photos, the wrinkles around her jaw have been drastically improved and her eyes are more open and striking. Overall, the surgery helped to bring out her beautiful facial features.
