Uneasy with several factors related to the appearance of her skin, this 67 year old woman wanted to create a new look and feel for her skin that would complement the face lift procedure that she had just received. When she first came to the practice her skin was discolored in some areas and had an uneven texture. To improve this, the patient agreed that laser surgery was the best option for her to meet her desires for Los Angeles skin rejuvenation.

The laser procedure that was used is called Pearl Fusion, which is a combination of the laser treatments Pearl and Pearl Fractional. Pearl and Pearl Fractional together work to treat damaged skin cells, promote new healthy cells, even out the texture on the face, and reduce wrinkles. The treatment was performed on the patient using a series of pulses to treat fractions of the skin and then preselected patterns of pulses to treat larger surface areas of the skin.

This procedure complemented her facelift very well. While her skin still has a red tint which should fade given more recovery time, it is already apparent that her skin has a more consistent coloration and texture. Her skin also looks much more youthful and her wrinkles that were treated are now less noticeable.
