Nipple - Inversion Correction Case

This 24-year-old woman felt uncomfortable with the look of her nipples. Both of them were inverted, pointing inward instead of outward, making them look unnatural. Concerned with finding a qualified surgeon to perform her nipple surgery, this patient decided to schedule a consultation with one of the board-certified plastic surgeons here at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates.

When she met with her surgeon, he examined her breasts and explained the process of nipple surgery to her. He would make a small incision at the base of the nipple and then by spreading the internal fibers in the tissue, he would nudge the nipple outward. Then, using carefully placed incisions, he would support the nipple, keeping it outward as it healed into its proper position.

After her surgery was completed, this patient was very happy with what her Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon had done. In the “after” photos, which were taken six weeks after her surgery, both of her nipples looked natural and normal and there is no obvious sign of surgery. She was very pleased.
