This 28 year old woman came to our practice very determined to make her life a little easier by having permanent make up applied to her eyelids and eyebrows. She expressed her concern with her sparse brows and disliked applying her eyeliner and mascara each morning. To resolve her concerns, a skin treatment professional at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates applied permanent makeup on the patient’s eyelids and brows.

Permanent makeup in Los Angeles is applied by using micro-implantation of mineral extracts into the skin. This treatment is very similar to tattooing and results typically last for many years.

One place that the makeup was applied on this patient was her eyebrows, which were enhanced beyond where her eyebrows naturally existed to give them a fuller and more vibrant look. Permanent makeup was also applied as eyeliner on her eyelids. Rather than having her eyelashes dyed, she wanted them to be longer and therefore used the popular product LATISSE®, which Los Angeles women typically use to lengthen, thicken, and darken their eyelashes.

The results from her permanent makeup procedure as well as her use of LATISSE turned out great. The patient was very pleased with the accuracy and natural look that her results portray. She loves that she can save time each morning since she no longer needs to apply her mascara, brow pencil, and eyeliner.
